I have been lucky to have completed backpacking trips camping wild along both of them. GPS is only ever used as a backup for checking grid reference position in an emergency. John had plotted a route based on OS mapping. We all tend to be a bit old school and a paper map is always used in preference to a GPS. Glad to hear that you are the same......<br /><br />*Gail*<br />As you say ...some great names.
