The problem in the UK is that we often have constant rain. I follow a German vlogger who rides Focus bikes and currently he is bike packing in Rwanda. The hard packed trails seem to be a dream to ride without the problem of mud. I would be happy with those 🙂 TrevorW https://www.blogger.com/profile/13212954091289189979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5125377846799056778.post-31004425172244094402022-02-13T13:37:43.644+00:002022-02-13T13:37:43.644+00:00Look forward to that Trevor, we could come East to...Look forward to that Trevor, we could come East to your direction if it was more convenient. When you buy a new bike they tend to cut the fork tube low which doesn’t suit many older riders. I like drop bars but not too low. Also the gearing is often too high for the hills , my preferred gearing is a 46/30 with a 11/36 rear cassette, which is why I build my own or modify. As our club is ageing I end up modifying friends bikes too.
I guess it will take a while to balance the pain medication but lets hope its soon.
In Wales they have taken a more cautious approach to easing the restrictions but even though the effects of the virus seem to be lessening you still have to be careful and its now down to individual choice.
Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01047342243577979820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5125377846799056778.post-44380522986074238342022-02-13T03:06:59.833+00:002022-02-13T03:06:59.833+00:00@Frank Kernow
